Train Journey

This journey is not to you
And back, but the train
Cuts a triangle around your house
And I see a hill you might be looking at.

Grey and poor the damp-locked
Houses, not a glimpse of the sun
That might light up the spot
In the landscape, where you sit now,
Not waiting for me.
